2014 Favorite Make-Up Products

Goodbye 2014 and hello 2015! Now is a good time to see what were some of my favorite make up products in 2014. So today, I picked out my favorites and divided them into different categories. I will start with face products first.

My favorite primer of 2014 goes to the Mac Prep & Prime BB cream. As the name of the product says, this is a two in one product. You can use it as a light coverage foundation or as a primer. For me, I use this as a primer. It's very light weighted and not greasy. What I usually do is mix this BB cream with my foundation, then apply to my face. It stays on all day and it's SPF 30. It's a very good product.

For foundation, I will say it's definitely going to be my Benefit "Hello Flawless!" Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation. This foundation brings out a smooth finish. It has a nice coverage and blends in with my original skin color. As it says, it definitely gives you a flawless look! I recommend to apply it with a damp sponge, it's also SPF 30. Definitely a great day time foundation!

Moving on to face powder. I am loving the BareMinerals Jumbo Size Original Foundation. This is a loose powder. It gives me a luminous look and last for a long time and doesn't get caky. Definitely a great product for natural looks. I also use it when I want the no makeup makeup look. The only drawback of this powder is that it doesn't have a lot of shades to choose from. But it's still great!

The last product for my face is going to the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. You can't really mess up when using this product. It gives you that sun kissed glow. I use it everyday for some daily contour and it last all day as well.

I've tried three different eye brow products this year, and I love all three of them. But the one I loved the most is the Anastasia Brow Wiz. The packaging of the brow pencil is very skinny, so it's easy to work with. It creates a natural brow look and stays on all day long. I strongly recommend this brow pencil.

I am just always lack in sleep, therefore I have some serious dark circle situation going on there. I found my life savior in 2014. It's the Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector. Just a little of it, and those dark circles are gone. It's a long lasting product. I found the best way to apply this product is by using my fingers. You are supposed to put concealer on top of it, because it's only a corrector. I just use it as my undereye concealer. It's wonderful.

I am going to skip eye shadow. I didn't have any that I loved the most. But I do have something for eyeliner. I have two favorites. The first one is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye pencil. The texture of the pencil is so smooth. And the color is very vibrant. It has a long lasting finish and doesn't smudge. It also has a tons of different shades for you to chose. I have in the shade Perversion (matte blackest black) and Rock Star (dark purple). The second one is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. This is a highly pigmented liquid liner with an awesome brush. The brush makes the application way easier. It is a waterproof liner which does not fade and smudge.

I also have two favorite mascaras and they are both from YSL. The first one is the YSL Babydoll Mascara. The applicator of the mascara helps to separate the lashes and provides volume. It does't create clumps or smudges all day long. Therefore, it's a long lasting mascara. It also creates an open eye effect. The second one is their Shocking Mascara. It's pretty similar to Babydoll. It creates a tons of volume and gives you that faux lashes look. I personally just love both of them, because I don't have  a lot of volume in my lashes. They are my lash volume savior!!

The last product I am going to talk about is a lip product, and again it's from YSL. It's their Rouge Volupté Shine. It hydrates and makes your lips smoother and softer. Very pigmented and last for a long time. I was eating a burger one day and it stayed on the whole time. Highly recommended!!
